Georgia Forest Watch Plant Walk with Patricia Kyritsi Howell
Patricia Kyritsi Howell has been my teacher since 2008, and she has been an herbalist and plant advocate for more than 30 years. Anytime there is an opportunity to spend time in the woods learning from her, I recommend it! These photos were from a plant walk organized by Georgia Forest Watch in June 2011. We climbed Black Rock Mountain in Rabun County, Georgia not long after tornadoes had left their mark on the landscape. The view from the top is still breathtaking.
